A Chance Encounter!

Well, Chance is here and on his very first day he had an adventure meeting his new neighbor! I don't know who was more excited Chance or the Bull! We will be posting more of our adventures and pictures as he grows!

Godzilla, Godzilla!

Ok, so we were supposed to get our dog last weekend, but there was a kink in that plan! My sister in law decided she just had to have this special breed of puppy, but the rest of the fam said ok, but you have to get rid of your Bearded Dragons for a little while during the training of the puppy. So my dad called me, not her to ask if we would foster them for a little while - so we said ok, but we thought it would be a few months now they are talking in definately. I am an animal lover alright, but I think the person who owns them should have called and I asked that she at least email to give me a heads up on their care, and nada! Plus there was a horrible smell and we couldn't figure out what it was the tank looked fairly clean, turns out it was decomposing superworms that were old and should have been thrown out months ago! I can't decide what is worse, the fact that she is a manager at a pet store and this is how she treats her own animals or the fact that they have been keeping us up at night fighting because the tank is too small for two! Hopefully we will still be able to adopt Chance, I wanted a dog and a cat not a zoo!

We are taking a Chance!

Just thought I would update this week by saying that we are taking a chance...Chance the dog that is...We have been selected to be the proud parents of a lab/weimaraner mix named Chance...We will get him this weekend and we will post pictures after he is settled!
